Hikvision provides essential tools for our customers to promote operational and installation efficiency by shortening time spent on project planning, deployment and maintenance.
From selecting products, choosing the right lens, calculating storage & bandwidth, configuring devices, to backing up & playing back recorded files.
Hikvision tools are designed to ease the daily job for our dealers, A&Es, system integrators and installers.
Batch Configuration Tool
Software Description：The Batch Configuration software can be used to configure the parameters of one or many devices, such as network, user, and exception parameters. And the software also provides other functions, like wiper control, editing password, restoring default settings, and batch upgrading.
Software Description：Allows users to convert video from Hikvision products to different video formats.
Software Descriptiion : The Hik Design Tool helps surveillance system designers make designing easier. Designer like you will be able to drag and drop Hikvision products to the drawing, e.g., network camera, NVR and switch, or analog camera and DVR.
Then interconnect the devices using appropriate transmission media, assigning IP addresses, and configure parameters.
The Hik Design Tool will notify the designer if the connection is wrong or if the system exceeds the device capacities.
The tool also keeps detailed device specifications for reference, you don’t have to go back to the datasheets.
When finished, the Hik Design Tool can export a topology drawing, an equipment list, and storage requirements.
Lens Selection tool
Software Description：The lens selection tool helps the surveillance system designer to visualize the field of view for Hikvision cameras with different resolutions and focal lengths when mounting at different heights and angles.
The tool can separate ranges of pixel density per m or ft into colored zones. The zones identify which items can be recognized by an AI camera, the human eye, subject behavior, or are out of range for proper identification.
Google map (payment required) or import feature allows designer to place camera on an actual map or floor plan.
Software Description：The Search Active Device Protocol (SADP) tool detects Hikvision devices on the local area network and facilitates device activation and basic network settings modification of one or more devices at once.
SADP now provides four methods for resetting a forgotten password including the newly added GUID Mode and Security Question Mode.
SADP is an excellent tool for activating and troubleshooting Hikvision network devices.

Storage and Network Calculator
Software Description：The integrated storage and network calculator helps surveillance system designers grasp an idea of the amount of bandwidth that will be generated by a number of cameras with the same or different configurations.
In addition to bandwidth, the calculator allows designers to input hard drive space to calculate the recording time or input the recording time to determine the required space.
